Terms of service

1. The service

Kito helps an adult transform uploaded study material into parent-reviewed questions and short learning rounds for a child. Kito is an educational support tool, not a school, tutor, medical service or guarantee of academic results.

2. Parent responsibility

The parent or legal guardian is the account holder. The account holder must provide accurate information, keep credentials secure, supervise use, review generated content before publishing it to a child and ensure they have the right to upload the material.

3. Child access

A child may use Kito only through a device or profile authorised by the parent account. Children may not create independent accounts, purchase subscriptions, upload documents or publish content.

4. Uploaded material and generated content

You retain rights in material you upload. You give Kito permission to process it only as needed to operate the service. AI-generated questions can contain errors, so parent review is required before publication. Do not upload unlawful, confidential or third-party content you are not authorised to use.

5. Plans, page allowances and trials

Plan features, current prices and page allowances are displayed before purchase. Pages are counted when material is accepted for processing. Unused monthly pages do not roll over. Trial eligibility may be limited to one trial per family or store account.

6. Subscriptions and cancellation

Mobile subscriptions are billed and managed by the relevant app store. They renew automatically unless cancelled within the store’s required time. Deleting the app or family data does not automatically cancel an app-store subscription.

7. Acceptable use

You may not misuse the service, bypass limits, probe its security, upload harmful files, infringe others’ rights, reverse engineer protected parts of Kito or use generated content for unlawful purposes.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep Kito reliable, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed. We may change features to improve safety, quality or sustainability. If a material paid feature changes, we will provide notice where required.

9. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, Kito is provided “as is.” We do not promise a particular mark, grade, diagnosis or educational outcome. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Termination and deletion

You may stop using Kito and request account deletion. We may suspend access for serious or repeated violations, fraud, security risk or legal requirements. See Delete your account for the current process.

11. Changes and contact

Final governing-law, dispute and verified contact details will be inserted before public release. Material term changes will be communicated as required.
