Terms of service
These terms describe the rules for using Kito, Kito Parent and kito.education.
1. Agreement and account holder
These terms form an agreement between the adult account holder and KobasLabs LLC. You must be an adult with authority to act for each child profile. If you do not agree to these terms, do not create an account or use Kito.
2. The service
Kito helps an adult transform uploaded study material into parent-reviewed questions and short learning rounds. Kito is educational support, not a school, tutor, medical service or guarantee of academic results.
3. Parent responsibility
The parent or legal guardian is the account holder. You must provide accurate information, protect credentials, supervise use, review generated content before publishing it to a child and ensure you have authority to upload the material and authorise the child's data processing.
4. Child access
A child may use Kito only through a profile and device authorised by the parent. Children may not create accounts, buy subscriptions, upload documents or publish content.
5. Uploaded material and generated content
You retain your rights in uploaded material and give Kito a limited licence to host and process it only to operate, secure and improve the service for your family. Generated questions can contain errors, so parent review is required. Do not upload unlawful content or unnecessary personal, health, financial or confidential information.
A family may also receive a private question bank prepared by a verified teacher. The parent must choose the child and approve the pack before it enters family scope. Teacher contributions are additionally governed by the Teacher contributor terms. A parent approval does not cure a copyright, confidentiality or authority problem.
6. Plans, trials and page allowances
Current prices, features, trial eligibility and page allowances are shown before purchase. Pages are counted when material is accepted for processing. Paid pages are added monthly; Study is capped at 540 pages and Family at 900 shared pages. Trial pages never transfer into paid access, and remaining paid pages expire when subscription access ends. Trial eligibility may be limited to one trial per family or store account. Store pricing and tax may vary by country.
7. Subscriptions and cancellation
Mobile subscriptions are billed and managed by Apple or Google. They renew automatically unless cancelled within the store's required time. Deleting the app or family data does not cancel a store subscription. Except where law requires otherwise, refunds are handled under the store's rules.
8. Acceptable use
You may not bypass limits, probe security, upload harmful files, infringe rights, reverse engineer protected parts of Kito, automate abusive traffic, resell access or use generated content unlawfully.
Copyright notices may be sent to the designated agent listed on the Copyright reports page. Kito may freeze disputed private packs and revoke links while a report is reviewed.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep Kito reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may change features for safety, quality, law or sustainability. We will provide notice where required for material paid-feature changes.
10. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, Kito is provided "as is". We do not promise a mark, grade, diagnosis or educational outcome. To the maximum extent permitted by law, KobasLabs LLC's aggregate liability relating to Kito will not exceed the amount the account holder paid for Kito during the 12 months before the claim. Nothing excludes mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be limited.
11. Suspension, termination and deletion
You may stop using Kito and request deletion. We may suspend access for serious or repeated violations, fraud, security risk or legal requirements. See Delete your account. Account deletion does not automatically cancel a store subscription.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Delaware law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Delaware have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law gives you another forum. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern informally.
