Teacher contributor terms
Additional rules for educators who prepare private Kito learning packs for families.
1. A private contribution tool
Kito Teacher is a private preparation and family-distribution tool. It is not a public content marketplace, learning management system, school record system or student monitoring service. The Kito consumer apps remain usable without a teacher.
2. Your authority to contribute
You may upload only material that you created, that your school or another rightsholder authorised you to share, that is openly licensed for this use, or that you are otherwise legally entitled to process and distribute. Possessing a copy or receiving a worksheet does not by itself grant redistribution rights.
3. Required attestation
Before each pack is processed, you must identify the basis of your authority and confirm that the contribution does not violate copyright, confidentiality, privacy, school policy or another person's rights. Kito may request evidence, restrict distribution or remove material.
4. Limited licence to Kito
You retain your rights. You give KobasLabs LLC a non-exclusive, limited licence to host, extract, transform, generate private practice from and deliver the material only to operate and secure the authorised Kito workflow. The licence ends when the pack is deleted, subject to short technical backup, security and legal-retention periods.
5. Generated practice
Kito is designed to extract supported learning concepts and create new practice forms. It does not promise that generated material is error-free or non-infringing. You review every pack before assigning it, and each parent separately authorises the class for one child. Do not instruct Kito to reproduce answer keys, textbook banks or protected assessment questions verbatim.
6. No student data
Do not upload student names, grades, identifiers, accommodation records, health information or other student records. Teachers do not receive child identities, individual answers, individual histories, subscriptions or family account data through Kito Teacher. Optional Class Pulse statistics are anonymous class-level aggregates and remain unavailable below Kito's privacy threshold.
7. Private sharing only
Teacher packs use private, revocable links or codes for intended families. You may not publish a code as a substitute for a public content library, sell access, scrape generated questions or use Kito to distribute material beyond your authority.
8. Reports, removal and repeat misuse
Kito may immediately freeze links while a report is reviewed, remove a pack or suspend a contributor when material is disputed, rights cannot be confirmed, or these terms are repeatedly violated. Copyright concerns can be reported to our registered DMCA agent through the copyright page.
9. Pilot limits and changes
Pilot access, preparation limits and features may change or end. Founding Teacher status is a product-recognition programme, not employment, agency, commission or a promise of payment.
10. Other terms
The general Terms of service and Privacy policy also apply. If these teacher terms conflict with the general terms for a teacher contribution, these teacher terms control for that contribution.
