Child privacy notice
A plain-language explanation of how Kito is designed to protect a child’s learning space.
The parent is in charge
A child cannot open a family account by themselves. A parent creates the account, adds the child profile, uploads school material, reviews the questions and pairs the device the child will use.
What Kito knows
Kito may know a first name or nickname, the chosen buddy, the subjects a parent has published, answers given during rounds, rewards, streaks and concepts that need more practice. A child email address is not required.
Why Kito remembers answers
Answers help Kito give useful feedback, keep first-try progress honest and bring difficult ideas back in a different form. They also help the parent understand where support may be useful.
What Kito does not do
- No advertising or behavioural advertising profiles.
- No public child profile, follower system or open chat.
- No independent child purchases or document uploads.
- No sale of child personal information.
Parent access and deletion
The parent can see learning information, export family data and delete material, a child profile or the entire family account. Some records may be retained where the law requires it or briefly in protected backups.
