Delete your Kito account
A parent can delete the family account and associated learning data from Kito Parent.
Delete in the app
- Open Kito Parent and sign in to the family account.
- Scroll to Plan & Privacy.
- Choose Delete account and family data.
- Enter the confirmation phrase shown in the app and confirm deletion.
What is deleted
The family account, child profiles, uploaded files, generated questions, device authorisations and learning history are scheduled for deletion. Certain minimal records may be retained where required for security, accounting, disputes or law, and protected backups may expire on a delayed cycle.
Important subscription note
Deleting Kito data does not automatically cancel a subscription managed by Apple or Google. Cancel the subscription in the relevant app-store account to prevent future renewal.
Cannot access the app?
Email privacy@kito.education from the parent account email with the subject Kito account deletion. We verify control of the account before acting.
